Founder pledge

I’m building TypeMyVibe as a solo founder. I don’t care about collecting your data — I only want enough to generate your report, deliver it to you, and keep systems secure. If something isn’t needed, we don’t keep it.

Models & infrastructure

Chat analysis uses third-party AI processors. We send message excerpts to OpenRouter, which routes them to its model providers (such as Groq, Cerebras and DeepInfra) for analysis, report synthesis and writing. These requests can include analysis results and quoted excerpts from your messages. In one-to-one chats, short excerpts of the other person’s preceding message may be sent alongside your replies as context, so the analysis knows what you were answering; those excerpts are never stored. This processing is necessary to produce the report you request.

• Your chats, quiz answers and reports are never sold or shared with advertisers.
• We do not use your private inputs to train general models.
• Optional image generation also uses external model APIs to process the prompts and images needed for that feature.

What we collect

• Account info you provide (e.g., email for login).
• Content you choose to analyze (e.g., chat exports, public posts).
• If you give an email to get your report (“Email me when it’s ready”): that address, used for that report’s link and, if you start a checkout for it and don’t finish, one reminder email (if you also have an account or opted in to updates, up to two more over the next three days). You can unsubscribe from reminders.
• Questions you ask VibeSage, the report assistant, and its answers. They are saved with your report so you can read them again, including questions you save for the Full Pack. VibeSage answers from your generated report, not your uploaded chat: your question and excerpts of your report are sent to the AI processors above to write the answer.
• If you ask us to email you the chat export steps for later: that address and the app you picked. We send the steps once, and one reminder the next day only if you haven’t uploaded since, each with an unsubscribe link. We delete the request after 30 days.
• If you start checkout for a full Attitudinal Psyche report: your quiz answers and, if you pay, the email you enter at checkout.
• If you ask us to email you a free quiz result: that email address and the result (just the type code). If you also tick “type guides”, we only send them after you confirm from your inbox: three short guides over about a week (how your type shows up in real conversations, comparing it with a friend, and a last one pointing to the full report), each with an unsubscribe link. We also keep the analytics id of the browser that asked, so we can tell whether the guides led to a report.
• Basic analytics (pages visited, buttons clicked) to improve UX.
• Cookies and similar browser storage used by analytics (see below).

How your data is used

• Generate your personality report and deliver it to you.
• Troubleshoot issues, secure the service, and prevent abuse.
• Improve product experience using non‑content analytics.

Storage & deletion

• Uploaded chats are never made public. A paid analysis keeps its uploaded chat in private storage alongside your report; email us and we’ll delete it.
• Reports are stored for your access; request deletion anytime.
• Security logs may be retained for fraud and abuse prevention.

Third‑party services

We rely on infrastructure and analytics providers (e.g., hosting, authentication, payments). They receive only the minimum necessary information to operate the service.

Cookies

TypeMyVibe doesn’t show ads, and advertisers never receive your chats, quiz answers or reports.

• Our analytics use cookies or similar browser storage to count visits and see which pages help. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Paid Attitudinal Psyche report

• The free Attitudinal Psyche result is calculated in your browser, and your answers stay there unless you start checkout for the full report.
• To show the opening of your full report under your result, the page sends your eight scale scores (the numbers on your result, not your answers) to TypeMyVibe. They are used to build that preview and are not stored.
• When you start checkout for the full report, we receive your quiz answers (or, for results saved before answers were kept, your eight scale scores), an anonymous analytics ID, and a hashed version of your IP address used only to limit abuse.
• If you pay, we also receive the email you enter at checkout so we can send you the report link.
• Checkouts that are never paid are deleted, with their answers, after 30 days. Paid orders keep the answers so your report link keeps working.
• Payment is handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. We never see your card details.
• Your report lives at a private link, and the browser you bought it on remembers that link. Anyone who has the link can open the report, so keep it to yourself.
• Email us to have a report and the answers behind it deleted.

Your rights

• Access, export, or delete your data by contacting us.
• Opt out of non‑essential analytics via browser settings.
