The LFEV is the cultivated craftsman of the Logic types. First Logic gives a clear, grounded intelligence; second Physics turns it into taste — the feel of quality, the well-made thing, the pleasure of doing something skillfully. Beneath that poise sits a tender third Expression (formerly Emotion): the Connoisseur feels acutely but second-guesses whether it shows too much or too little. And Volition, dead last, means they rarely fight for the wheel — tell them the goal and they'll perfect the execution.
The LFEV stack, position by position
First Logic and second Physics fuse into refined competence: a clear mind expressed through tasteful, skilled making. The Connoisseur knows what's true and what's well-made, and can produce it. The tension sits at three and four. Third Expression means all that quality is offered with a nervous glance — 'do you like it? was that too much?' — hunting for warmth they can't quite ask for. Fourth Volition means they won't seize direction, so their gifts get deployed toward other people's goals, and their own wants can stay unspoken until resentment surprises them.
1st — Logic (Confident · settled)
The Connoisseur's first Logic is discerning and self-assured. They form clear views, prize precision, and state conclusions without needing to litigate them — but their reasoning bends toward the concrete and the aesthetic rather than sweeping abstraction. They can be quietly exacting, correcting a sloppy claim as a matter of course, yet they don't feel threatened by disagreement; the logic is simply settled. It's a mind that knows what it thinks and doesn't perform the knowing.
2nd — Physics (Confident · flexible)
Second Physics is where the LFEV's taste lives. They read quality instantly, take real joy in craft, food, materials, and comfort, and love the collaborative side of the physical — cooking for people, tuning a space, teaching a technique. Money and the body sit easily; they're competent and adaptable, happy to work with what's available. This is their playground and their generosity: they express care by making the physical world nicer for the people around them.
3rd — Expression (Insecure · sore spot)
Feeling is the delicate place. The Connoisseur experiences emotion vividly but distrusts its expression — worried it's too much, then too cold, never quite calibrated. They'll say 'I'm fine' and then over-apologize; they scan for whether an emotional display was welcome. Criticism of their sensitivity, or a mocking tone about how they feel, cuts deep. They crave sincere emotional connection yet approach it warily, testing whether it's safe before they let it show.
4th — Volition (Unbothered · blind spot)
Volition is genuinely low-priority, and the LFEV is fine with that. They don't crave authority, don't push agendas, and are content to follow a goal someone else sets — 'whatever you think, I'm easy.' Not weak-willed in a painful way; just uninterested in the contest for control. The upside is a lack of ego about power and easy cooperation. The risk is drifting — going along with directions they don't love and only later realizing they never wanted to.
How LFEV shows up in real language
Attitudinal Psyche is about posture, not ability — so it leaks into word choice. Here is how the LFEV stack tends to read when you watch someone actually type.
Texting & communication patterns
Texting & messaging
- Warm but careful — feels a lot, reveals cautiously
- Over-apologizes after any emotional message
- Precise and aesthetic; cares how things are phrased
- Offers to host, cook, or make things nice
- Rarely pushes an agenda — defers on direction
At work / in writing
- Delivers high-quality, well-crafted output
- Needs sincere appreciation, not just praise-by-rote
- Won't campaign for leadership or their own ideas
- Sensitive to tone in feedback — deliver it kindly
- Great executor once someone sets the direction
LFEV vs LFVE: the common mix-up
Both lead with confident Logic and hands-on Physics, so the competence looks identical. The difference is entirely in the bottom two, which are swapped.
Where the anxiety lives
The Connoisseur frets over feelings — is my emotion welcome, was that too much? The Consultant frets over authority — is it okay to decide, am I overstepping?
What they neglect
The Connoisseur is unbothered by will and drifts with others' goals. The Consultant is unbothered by emotion and stays flat when warmth was needed.
The felt experience of the swap
Push an LFEV to lead and they'll happily comply — no sting. Push an LFVE to lead and they flinch. Conversely, an emotional moment rattles the LFEV but barely registers for the LFVE.
The tell in language
The Connoisseur apologizes for feelings ('sorry, was that weird?'); the Consultant apologizes for asserting ('I don't want to overstep').

How TypeMyVibe spots LFEV
We don't ask you to self-identify. The model reads how you actually write and looks for the LFEV signature — confident reasoning up top and the tell-tale wobble of the 3rd position underneath. It's the same idea behind chat-based typing: your posture toward each domain is written into your messages, whether you notice it or not.
